Bulb Replacement (Spectraflare)

Bulbs have a limited life span and will require replacing as they expire. Caution: bulbs can be very hot, handle with care. Allow bulbs to cool before attempting to replace.

Before undertaking any maintenance or cleaning, unplug or disconnect fire from the socket outlet.

• Remove the two push studs (timber frame)/screws (metal frame) from the rear face of the decorative frame and carefully lift the frame off the electric heater.
• Locate the plate at the bottom of the front face of the electric heater and remove by unscrewing the two screws.
• Remove the expired bulb by pulling it to the right and replace with a new one.
• Re-fit the plate.
• Re-fit the decorative frame.

It is important that this exact specification make and model of bulb is used. This is a specific high power, long life bulb designed specifically to push a high percentage of light through the fibre optic cable.

Important: If this bulb is not used the light effect will not be as bright. Some other bulbs of a similar specification create too much heat and may damage the colour wheel.
